meet the founder
I’m Anneka Russell, I have worked in Early years education for over 20 years in a variety of roles, including as a Primary teacher, Early years inspector, Local authority adviser and more recently providing consultancy on a National DFE funded programme.
As the Founder of Enjoy EY and inventor of the JEKA Play furniture range, I work with Policy makers, Leaders, Managers and Practitioners across the UK.
The blend of my knowledge and experience in both early years and design enables me to support schools and nurseries to provide high quality, inclusive physical and emotional environments.
With the environment being ‘the 3rd teacher’, improving learning environments is one of the best investments any educator can make into a young child’s life, and it doesn’t need to cost the earth!

Consultancy
The beginning of our relationship will start with a conversation about the current stage of your journey, your vision for the organisation and the outcomes you wish to receive as a result of our collaboration. Following this, a visit to your setting will be arranged for a learning walk and observation of practice. Next, we will work together to devise a comprehensive development plan which will include clear, measurable and realistic targets.
